Raffle

You are now able to purchase raffle tickets. You may purchase your tickets from Julia Kelly in St. Charles or Crystal Brown in Virgil. Ticket prices are:

$1.00 each
OR
6 for $5.00

The containers to put your tickets in are located in the lunchrooms of the main STC office and the main MT office.
The raffle prizes are:

Paid day off Midwest Groundcovers - only MG employees are eligible
Paid day off Midwest Trading - only MT employees are eligible

$50 gift certificate to Al's Cafe & Creamery in Elgin - 2 winners

The raffle winners will be announced on Friday December 12, 2008.

Bake Sale reminder!!

Greens sale change

The greens sale will start on Tuesday December 2nd instead of Monday December 1st. This is for St. Charles only. Virgil's sale will start on Monday December 8th as previously stated.

Please have your items available starting at 8:30am on Tuesday December 2nd. The bake sale begins on Tuesday December 2nd and ends Thursday December 4th.

Holiday Greens Sale

Purchase a beautiful variety of greens to make your own:

This year, the sale will be available to those in Virgil.
Sale dates are:

Monday December 1 - Friday December 12 in St. Charles in the Retail Shoppe
Monday December 8 - Friday December 12 in Virgil at the employee entrance of the main office building

The price is $15 per crate and all proceeds will go towards our 2 charities, Hesed House and Hope Haven.

Donation boxes

We now have donation boxes for the charities. The box for Midwest Groundcovers is in the lunchroom in the main building in St. Charles and the box for Midwest Trading will be in the lunchroom in the main building in Virgil. There are needs lists for both charities attached to the boxes that can be torn off and taken with you. When bringing items in, please place them in the box. If the item is too big or you have bags of clothing, please let Julia (in St. Charles at ext. 2016) or Crystal (in Virgil at ext. 5004) know so those items can be kept in a different area.

Upcoming fund raisers

This year we will be having a bake sale and a raffle to raise money for our chosen charities.

The bake sale will begin on Tuesday December 2nd and go through Thursday December 4th. The sign up sheets are in the lunchrooms. Details on how to package the baked items will be given closer to the date of the bake sale.

The raffle will be held on Friday December 5th at the Midwest Trading office in Virgil. Raffle prizes will be announced shortly.
